New album “The Meeting” out on March, 16

Deep Jazz – The Meeting
The second album from “Deep Jazz” is called “The Meeting”. Leader and bassplayer Jerker Kluge wrote nine completely new compositions, chose two classics of the genre for a new interpretation and arranged the material for the new line-up, a exceptional and very special nonet formation.
Very special indeed are the two voice vocals, the horn section (flute/alto, tenor and bass-clarinet) as well as the concert harp. Together with the rhythm section and additional percussion, they form a unique line-up.

The British DJ Gilles Peterson already chose one new track from the CD (“Little Sunflower”) as one of the best tracks of 2011 at his broadcast “worldwide” on BBC.
